Ventilation Project Manager

HVAC Inc, a Laval-based company specializing in building mechanical systems, is steadily growing with over four decades of experience and innovation, and is currently seeking a Ventilation Estimator.

Under the supervision of the Director of Ventilation, the Project Manager coordinates project execution as well as site start-up activities through to end-of-project interventions. They work closely with the General Superintendent and the designated Foreman to plan the various stages of work, ensuring efficiency and proper procurement. The Project Manager is responsible for monitoring shop drawings and, in collaboration with the Drafting Department Director, overseeing the distribution of documents for coordination and on-site installation. They also contribute to labor forecasting and to the smooth progression of ongoing projects.

We are seeking a Project Manager with training or a solid understanding of project management, who is eager to take on new challenges and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• DEC in Building Mechanical Systems (Mechanical Engineering
• Technology) or equivalent training;
• Project management experience;
• Knowledge of the ventilation industry;
• Strong ability to manage priorities;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with staff;
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients;
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Bilingualism is an asset.
